Accounting Clerk (N. San Diego, CA)

We are looking for an entry level Accounting Clerk for a temporary 3-6 month assignment with the possibility of going permanent.
Description:
Performs support tasks and activities in the accounts payable/receivable function.
Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
Gathers purchase orders, charge slips, sales tickets etc and prepares payments.
Organizes and maintains retention files.
Ad hoc administrative and accounting projects.
Skills desired:
Attention to detail and thoroughness. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently. Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), excellent grammar, spelling and proof-reading skills and ability to follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and clients/customers. Ability to work independently is a self-starter and can perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment. Can anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction. 1+ years of hands-on accounting experience and a good mathematical background. Ability to sort, check, count and verify numbers. PC proficiency and data entry skills.

Purchasing Accountant (N. San Diego, CA)

Hemp Health, Inc. is located in N. San Diego, CA. We are are currently looking for Purchasing Agent with 1-3 years of experience purchasing materials in a manufacturing environment.
Description:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, purchasing all ingredients, supplies and related items for inventory on time and with cost efficiency
Creating purchase requisitions, purchase orders and posting item receipts in a timely manner
Processing order requests for production/authorization from management
Inventory order placement and delivery tracking with vendor to ensure timely receipt of goods
Vendor management and sourcing new vendor partnerships as needed
Confirmation that purchased product has been received, and coordination with AP for bill payment upon receipt of invoices
Oversee any back orders, delayed orders, damaged goods, order modifications and shipping logistics and constant communication with internal production in office and warehouse locations
Assists AP with vendor communications when needed
Backup administrative, receptionist and will call processing
Adhoc administrative and/or accounting projects
Skills required:
Must be highly detail oriented and organized
Excellent problem solving skills with ability to learn new tasks quickly
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
Must have purchasing experience working in a manufacturing company
Minimum 2-3 years general accounting experience
1+ years experience working with Quickbooks Enterprise (Manufacturing & Wholesale) preferred
Intermediate Excel experience
Works well in team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Inventory Accountant (N. San Diego, CA)

Hemp Health, Inc. is located in N. San Diego, CA. We are are currently looking for Inventory Accountant with 1-3 years of experience.
Description:
Build complex inventory assemblies and sub assemblies in Quickbooks Enterprise Manufacturing
Work with elaborate calculations for formulas and recipes
Collaborate with production to maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels for finished goods and raw materials
Coordinate cycle inventory counts
Works with management and purchasing to identify and maintain inventory goals
Coordinate raw materials requisitions with purchasing
Ensure timing of assemblies to coordinate with finished goods assembly
Assist with maintenance of bill of materials
Skills required:
Tech savvy, analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to learn quickly
Must be highly detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills
Excellent problem solver in a fast paced environment
Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
Must have 2+ years experience working with Quickbooks Enterprise
Intermediate Excel knowledge
Works well in team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
